Dufftown Distillery is located in the Speyside region. There are many distilleries in the town, but Dufftown can be called the first town of whisky because at least 6 distilleries are still active. Dufftown whisky takes a particularly long time to ferment, so its flavor is full of hazelnut and malt fragrance. In recent years, the distillery has slightly adjusted the production method, making the body lighter and adding a fresh grassy aroma. The production volume of Dufftown Distillery is not small, but it is difficult to find a bottle of Dufftown single malt whisky in the market. Because Dufftown Whisky has always been the driving force behind Bells, the UK's first blended whisky, most of it is used to blend Bells whisky, and only a very small amount is bottled as single malt whisky.
