The Kurayoshi range of sherrys is created by the little-known Japanese whiskey producer Matsui Shuzo (also known for sake and shochu). These whiskeys are blended malt whiskeys made from whiskey distilled in Scotland and then shipped to Japan where they are blended with Japanese whiskey.
Aroma: Walnuts and chocolate peanuts, with a hint of cranberry.
Taste: Raisin and honey bread, with a lingering taste of ground ginger.
Flavours: Crunchy brown sugar, stewed pear and blueberry.
