The origin of Moutai is Moutai Village, Renhuai County, Guizhou Province. It has been among the best in the Panama Games since 1915 and has long enjoyed a high reputation. After several years of research, the world-famous Maotai liquor was successfully developed.
It was also approved to be officially launched on the market starting from January 1966. It uses sorghum and wheat as raw materials, has a wine age of more than one year, a high alcohol content of 54%, and a flavor-type Daqu sorghum wine.
